Guadalupe Mountains National Park Shirt

Guadalupe National Park is a like wandering into a dream. One moment you are in this vast basin of a desert, flat and extending for miles. Suddenly a mountain range pops up and dominates the horizon. That feeling of vastness is what I was hoping to achieve with this T shirt design.

110 miles east of El Paso in the Chihuahuan Desert of West Texas is where you'll find this magnificent park. It features the tallest mountain in the state, Guadalupe Peak. That being said it is Guadalupe's neighbor, El Capitan, that steals the show. It's a mountain that sticks out of the Earth like a vast monolithic structure from another world; and prominently featured in this design. If you could see it 250 million years prior it would have been underwater.

Guadalupe Mountains National Park is home to an abandoned Butterfield stage coach route that operated in the mid 19th century. It's station house remnants are still standing in ruin at Guadalupe Pass.
